Summer has never been my season of choice to photograph.it's too hot , the humidity is heavy and then there is the mosquitoes , black flies and ticks along with all the other pest you encounter. 

so besides continually flipping over my collection of books to keep my creativity fresh and ready for when the end of summer rolls in , I'm also studying my photos of different ideas , mix and matching them looking for possibilities for later when I do get back out and on the road. 

Here are a few I been working on this morning.

It sure does seem that this year is racing to the next . we are just around the corner to another autumn. which , for me . means its time to plan my drive across the New England states to watch the natural fireworks of the forest.

It has always been my favorite of the seasons . there is something mystical and mysterious of autumn , like the calm before the storm.

A New Project

I feel like every project is like a dream project , as long as I am learning.

A new project came to me when I stopped taking my car to the city and started taking the train instead , making it much easier and less worrisome. It came to me daydreaming looking out the window and realizing all the weird and interesting sites along the Hudson river. 

So I headed out at 4 am to start this new project at Hudson NY , for a little scouting before heading south this week.

Getting around town.

Music , like any creative endeavor , is filled with self doubt , struggle and at times , bliss . For me to get around town I think of my fret-board as Manhattan.
