Haiku

I first learned about the Japanese poetry form , " Haiku " from seeing the work of some one else. a way of expressing one's own walk with nature and life , sharing these experiences with others.

so I brought , " Poetry for dummies " and read the section on Haiku's and Tanka's and found it's format of 5/7/5 syllables much to constraining for my carefree nature. a mind of wild I can't be boxed in no more then the wind .

then I was given this book for Christmas and it was like the heavens opened up and set me free.
