A bright future a coming

Dreams, dreams and more dreams, having passed another birthday my future is coming closer to a new awakening. While the goals have remained the same the road has changed considerably over the last year, thanks to some wonderful people that have help show me the possibilities and encouraged me to continue working on making my dreams come true.

The first step was to realize what is important to me .It is not fame or fortune, book deals or gallery exhibits; I couldn’t care less about these things. It’s teaching photography , there is nothing more satisfying to me then to see the beaming smile on some one’s face after you show them something new and different. That photography is more then just making a beautiful photograph, it’s a way to discover one’s inter-self, to have fun and enjoy life with all the wonderful possibilities along the way.

To work with children and their exciting and wonderful view of the world and adults to help them to find the road back to seeing like children. The smiles and laughter will keep me young and happy.There is still a ways to go but my wacky little trail seems to be headed in the right direction.

The second step is to figure out the actual move which appears to be much more difficult. Anyone want to buy a 3 story condo in Troy NY ?

UGH !!!

I brought 2 - 1.5 TB portable harddrives to back up all my photo files from my laptop and 3 smaller portable drives. the plan is to finish one large drive , copy that to the other large drive and then burn DVDs for a 3rd back-up. the problem is everytime I start sorting files to save or delete I come across a file or two that I want to edit.

Christ ! I'm never going to finish this project ;0( .

I'm finally recoved from my vacation but will have to wait a few days to get back on the road. here is a few just to put up something.

On to the next project

Now that I'm finished working on files from Martha's Vineyards it's time to move on to the next project.at least until winter and I'm snowed in looking for something to do. so with autumn knocking on the door I'll be heading to the Adirondacks , Vermont and the White Mountains of NH if I don't get myself killed first.

Never say good-bye

The last day of Alison Shaw's September workshop was spent at the West Tisbury Farmers Market.Below are photos from that last get together. Taking photos of people has never been something that came to mind for me , looking back now on all the workshops I have attended over the years it has turned out to be a regret.I guess better late then never.

These are only a few of the wonderful people that I captured with my camera .Other's like Donna B , Ann , Donna Foster , Ellen , Kathy , Ginny , Mary , Arthur and Jen will never be forgotten.

We have been busy

While my wonderfuland and beautiful ( not to mention crazy ) little playmates were home recovering from last night's wild dinner I was out at 3am practicing my star photos for November and December.
