From a Distance

There is this farm next to a friend's house that is just beautiful . It used to be used for horses but today sits idle. I took a country walk over to their home and knocked hoping to get permission to walk around and photograph. No one answered and was told later that no one lives there anymore.

I know plenty of people that have no problem trespassing to get a photo but that just isn't me. I wouldn't want people walking on my property and wouldn't hesitate to let them know if I seen them.

So from a distance I took this photo hoping some day I'll get a chance to really explore.

Thoughts rattling around in my head

I can remember the nuns leading me by the ear , but for the life of me I can't remember anyone ever having to lead me by the hand.

It's easy to gain the love and admiration of a child.One just has to get down low so that they can look you in the eyes on their own two feet.

Every photographer has their own rules they use to achieve success , success for me comes from breaking everyone of them.

Mathematics is the purist language of all . Whether they realize it or not scientist are learning to talk in the same language God speaks.

It is with photography that I'm able to talk with God in a way that we both understand each other.

Baseball is life itself , no matter where you are the goal is always the same . To get home safe and sound .
