It's been a busy week of blogging .

now with the basic plan already laid out it's time to start working on my summer Adirondack project but first I need a rest.

Jeanna Petersen Shepard

Jeanna Petersen Shepard : Generous of heart , multi-talented , high energy , wisecracking mother of 4. with a wide ranging interest in photography. weddings, documentary , landscape and fine art. always with another question about technic , style and effects in aim to make herself a great photographer. I have no doubt that someday she will become just that.

Jeanna takes a lot of ribbing on her keen sense of fashion. I have to admit some of which is just hilarious .with strengh and inner confidence she can dish it out as well as she takes it. often at her own expense. truth be known if she decided to make a fashion statement using burlap bags within a week half the women in New York would be raiding potato farms in Idaho to copy her style.

she has been a dear friend and supportive from day 1 . something i'll never forget.

as with everyone here , they are an inspiration and a joy to spend time with. I'm lucky to know such wonderful people .

Lee Auchincloss

Lee Auchincloss : You are first lured in by that killer smile. Then she talks . Lee could have the , “ Queen’s Guards “ keeled over laughing. I stop dead in my tracks whenever Lee starts talking so as not to miss anything. She is one of those extremely rare people that could make a fortune just talking. It should be a crime to be so funny.

Her go to lens is the Nikon 14-24 mm and her work is as crazy , exciting and wonderful as she is. Lee’s children are artist , I just have to see the work they do !

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hollis Rafkin-Sax

 

Hollis Rafkin-Sax: The quiet one but don’t ever let that fool you. highly motivated , accomplished , talented and adventurous . she went through the window at the back of that bus like a US Navy Seal rescuing American hostages . Hollie has a heart of gold donating her time for the benefits of others.

Her children appear to have her motivation and artistic drive to make their own mark.

Rita Foley : She's a mom , with a graduate degree from the Stanford University school of business , she is dedicated to the advancement of women all over the world and award winning author . my God the list goes on and on . and some how she finds time to work hard to develop her artistic vision as a photographer. she truly is an inspiration .

From the Bronx's to Red Hook

 

 

 

 

Friends , Fun and Fotography

A day starting with hugs and kisses at the NY Botanical Garden's to the wild and crazy ride through the Bronx's , Manhattan and Brooklyn playing car tag till we reached Red Hook for dinner. it was then time to head down to the waterfront for more photos and fun .

before the next stop we headed into Fairway to do a little grocery shopping , yep , we all went grocery shopping together , that was interesting and different. finishing up the night at some penthouse night club ( the name lost to me ) to joke ,laugh and photograph the New York skyline.

ending the night with more hugs and kisses . if one was to measure the quality of life by the quality of their friends ...    well , I'm blessed .

A Wonderful Feeling

I realized today that I'm happy and that there is no reason not to be.

I have arrived in the spirit of inner peace.
